Michael Strevens

London-based digital artist, Michael Strevens uses his mobile devices and photo editing applications to create his immersive instagram photo series. High in contrast, whether in bright neon colors or grayscale, streven’s abstract images engage the viewers with its play on pattern and perspective. The artist takes inspiration from glitch art and enjoys the idea of ‘digitally destroying or corrupting the data in an image and turning it into something new.’ (Designboom)

Based in London, Michael Strevens makes digital artworks using only mobile devices. His images play with the viewer’s sense of scale by incorporating a number of striking visual elements. Such as graphic patterns, shapes and leading lines. Mike’s work earned him a place on Instagram’s Suggested User List in 2014 and 2015. And has appeared in Metro, Time Out Online, CreativeBloq, Vice, Vignette magazine (all UK). And as well as Die Welt (Germany), Designboom and Speak Up magazine (both Italy).
