Out of the Box Strips by Dominique Dubois-Taine aka DOM

Dominique Dubois-Taine | If you’re looking for a little something to brighten your day, may we suggest these minimalist comics by Montrouge, France-based Dominique Dubois-Taine (DOM)? For over twenty years, DOM has been creating these wordless, black and white pieces all centered around a very curious character named Bonom.

DOM doesn’t make these comics as his full-time job (rather, he works in stage and exhibition design), he just enjoys sharing them on comic sites. When I asked him if he would share them with us, here is what he said, “Bonom is an experimental minimalist comic, a character who is lost in space and time of the comic’s panel. My audience is mostly comprised of people following comics, but I’m sure Bonom could touch people interested in a larger artistic field.”
