Conceptual Illustrations by Alessandro Gottardo

Alessandro Gottardo | Born in Pordenone, Italy, Alessandro Gottardo, aka Shout, studied fine art in Venice and illustration in Milan. His conceptual illustrations have appeared in many international publications, books and projects for design firms, advertising agencies and animation studios.

His client list includes The New York Times, The New Yorker, TIME, Esquire, Wired, Newsweek, Fortune, CNN, ESPN, GQ, Le Monde, The Economist, Financial Times, National Geographic, Random House, Penguin Books, Hermes, American Express, United Airlines, Barclays, Volkswagen and Coca-Cola.

Gottardo has won numerous awards, including four gold and three silver medals from the Society of Illustrators NY and a gold medal from the Society of Publication Designers. He served as chair of the 58th Society of Illustrators NY Annual Exhibition competition in 2016.

He has published two monographies “Mono Shout” (2010) and “On Shout”
(2015), and has had solo exhibitions in Los Angeles, London, Milan, Vicenza and Naples.
